delcious catering at Dreamy garden themed nashville wedding: dream events and catering

Planning a wedding is, to no one’s surprise, a bit stressful. Selecting and securing vendors that fit your budget and your vision is one of the biggest challenges I think I’ll ever face. Luckily, Cheekwood helped me out with my caterer. Cheekwood scaled down the process and gave me a list of about 7 caterers to choose from. Dream Events and Catering was quickly at the top of my list. When I saw that Dream was a woman owned company, I was immediately interested. As soon as I contact Dream, they were kind, attentive, and willing to work with me to make my wedding vision come to life. I wanted every detail of the wedding to enhance its southern, enchanted garden theme, and I knew the food would be a huge part in making it feel as southern as possible.

Knowing the vibe I was going for, Dream set up a tasting for me, my now husband Charlie, and my parents, and it was one of the tastiest afternoons of my life. We were able to request some items we wanted to try and Dream added a few they thought we would like, too. We created our menu in the room. We left that tasting and immediately knew we wanted to eat that meal again. I canceled the rest of the tastings I had set up because I knew Dream was the one. Our final menu ended up being:

Dream continued to reach out and make sure I was happy with our menu all throughout my engagement. We even ended up changing the main course later and they made that process so easy.

During the final month before the wedding, Dream was so involved and wanted to make sure the food was not only delicious but that every element was designed according to my vision. We worked together to style the gorgeous lemonade bar and ensure that it was full of Charlie and I’s favorite flavors and matched our garden theme. The lemonade bar was such an amazing personal touch. I loved that guests could create their own unique drink that felt like it would be plucked straight out of an enchanted garden.

Another fun element Dream created for our southern garden wedding was a biscuit bar! Guests were able to choose from several yummy toppings to make this southern classic their own. Charlie and I loved this detail!

Dream was also kind enough to send a charcuterie board to The Graduate where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. It was so thoughtful and the perfect snack for everyone to graze on throughout the morning while we got ready.

Overall, Dream was the perfect vendor for our perfect day. Every thing they did only enhanced my vision and was absolutely delicious. We get to eat this meal again on our one year anniversary and we are truly counting down the days until we have that creme corn brulee again!

If you are planning your own wedding in the Nashville area, I highly suggest going with Dream! I promise you’ll have an absolutely dreamy experience.
