It’s so nice to meet you! If you’re wondering just who the heck I am, you’ve come to the right place!

I’m a graduate of Lipscomb University with a BA in English Creative Writing, and a History Minor.  I’ve recently returned to Lipscomb to complete a graduate certificate in Public Relations.

Above all, I am a storyteller.  I am passionate about bringing stories to life, through both creating my own pieces and editing the work of others.  I think stories – fictional, historical, even fantasies – are the basis of our world.  They are how we learn, grow, connect, and understand the people and world around us.  I want to help bring some of these amazingly inspiring and insightful stories to life.

This sweet little blog came to be in the midst of a tragic time in life, and reminded me how much I love and need to create.  I think everyone has seasons that qualify as tragic and magic and that it’s important to acknowledge both.  There are lessons to be learned in both times and I want to explore those.  I want to train myself to see the magic that exists in every situation and appreciate what life is trying to teach me.  To read more on this, check out my very first post: The Tragic & The Magic
